The beautiful coastline of North Northumberland is well known for its long, unspoilt sandy beaches, picturesque villages and magnificent medieval castles.

The quaint harbour village of Beadnell, with its scenic bay, lies between the historic towns of Alnwick (10 miles south) and Berwick Upon Tweed (20 miles north).

Neighbouring villages and places of interest include Holy Island (the birthplace of Christianity in Britain), Bamburgh Castle (one of the finest castles in England), and the popular fishing village of Seahouses.

If you want to see more of the Northumbrian countryside, the magnificent Cheviot Hills are only a 20 minute drive, perfect for keen walkers and cyclists.

Further afield, the market town of Alnwick has plenty of shops and visitor attractions including, Alnwick Castle , ( Where parts of Harry Potter were filmed) the famous Alnwick Garden which now plays host to the largest tree house in Europe and a fantastic leisure centre with swimming pool.
